  BigStar DVD is one of the newer entries in the DVD on-line retail market. They are a sponsor of this site and license our reviews for display on their website.

• Buy.com  
  Looks like you can find just about anything here. Amazon.com isn't the only "one stop shopping" spot. A slow-loader.

• CD Cellar  
  They say that they sell CD's cheap and don't wear suits.

• CDnow  
  According to them, they are the Internet's number one music store.

  No longer independent, CinemaDisc is now partnered (absorbed) with (by) NetFlix

  When we tried the site, all we got were server errors when trying to access titles. May you have better luck!

  Online DVD retailer based out of Irvine, California offering discounts and secure online ordering.

• DVD Empire  
  A BIG Picture sponsor that features our own, original DVD reviews on their expertly maintained website. Also features adult selections.

• DVD Expo  
  A small-potatoes DVD/LD retailer out of Garden Grove, California that doesn't update their site very often.

• DVD Express  
  One of the original BIG Picture sponsors; A large, comprehensive site featuring discounted DVDs'.

• DVD Palace (formerly Liquidata)  
  DVD hardware and software sales. Appears to offer equal emphasis to mainstream and adult.

• DVD Price Search  
  What a neat idea. This site keeps track of over 20 online DVD retailers and lists the 8 least expensive dealers to make your purchase from choose from, based on the titles you have selected. They even figure in the shipping costs, which can be a real red herring when ordering online. Wow!

• DVD Source  
  Online DVD sales. Well designed site that's easy to navigate.

• DVD Store  
  They sell DVD players and music CDs as well.

• DVDepot  
  They're going out of business, but you may still be able to pick up a few deals. Let us know when they fold entirely so we can remove this link, please...

  A plain-Jane retail site that doesn't seem to attract much traffic.

  Claiming to be Canada's number 1 DVD movie retailer.

  One of The BIG Picture's original sponsors. International retailer for Region 1 & 2 DVDs', also sells games and CD-ROMs'

• Image Entertainment  
  Software sales from the same studio that's authoring quite a few discs themselves!

• Just Laserdiscs  
  Slow-loading and on the ropes.

• Ken Cranes  
  An attractive, well-designed, easy to navigate online DVD retailer.

• Laser Library  
  Laserdiscs for sale or rental, VCDs, DVDs, and CD-ROMS. Somewhat confusing navigation.

• Laser's Edge  
  Equal emphasis on LD and DVD sales. A slow loader, but a nice site.

• Laserdisc Exchange  
  New, used and out-of-print LDs (which could be all of them, eventually!) plus DVDs.

• Laserquest  
  Small, Canadian based retailer selling Laserdiscs and DVDs.

• Lasers Unlimited  
  A small LD and DVD wholesale distributor that says "large enough to service, small enough to care". From what we can see, they don't care enough about how their seldom-traveled website looks.

• Lumivision  
  Considering their last DVD title update ocurred in June of '98 (as of this entry), this site doesn't inspire much confidence.

• Mega DVD  
  Software and hardware sales; info appears current.

• Priya Laser DVD  
  Newark, California site specializing in LD, Karaoke (including Filipino), Animated, Chinese and Hindi DVDs.

• RPM Records  
  These twisted sisters have been making their own kind of music with truly bizarre graphics. Oh yeah, the sell records, tapes, LDs and DVDs.

• The Laserdisc Division  
  Laserdiscs, DVD and DTS music CDs plus adult video titles

• Universal CD-ROM  
  Slam, bam, thank you, ma'am. This DVD retail site is just one big, long order form.

• Video Biz  
  Current, but slow-loading site that offers a toll-free number to place orders.

• Video Online Express  
  Boasting "57,500 VHS Tapes - 10,600 Laser Discs - 1900 Digital Video Discs (DVD) 7,600 Audio Books - 300 Games". Clearly they're too busy to concentrate on website aesthetics.

• Video Shoppers  
  DVD retailer out of Austell, Georgia. Not very current as of this indexing.

• VideoCave  
  Primarily text based shopping for DVDs. Not much in the way of website design or navigation..

• Waterfront Video  
  Boasting "Vermont's largest video library!" Quite a draw for folks in Vermont, but we're not sure how well that slogan will play in Los Angeles or New York.
